We develop battery energy storage systems on commercial and industrial land. Our projects generate revenue by participating in wholesale electricity markets — and we pass stable, predictable lease income back to you.
Long-term contracts with built-in annual escalators, backed by established energy market revenues. Predictable income you can count on.
Battery systems are compact, quiet, and low-profile. They require no water, produce no emissions, and generate virtually no traffic once installed.
Trico handles everything — permitting, installation, operations, and maintenance. You simply collect lease payments on land that may otherwise be underused.
We develop battery energy storage systems on underutilized commercial and industrial land. Our projects support the electrical grid while generating revenue through participation in electricity markets.
We work with landowners to identify parcels — or portions of parcels — that are well-suited for battery storage. Even small, underused areas can be a fit.
We manage the full development process — from utility interconnection and permitting through construction — so landowners don't have to.
Once operational, our systems earn revenue by participating in wholesale electricity markets, providing services that help keep the grid stable and reliable.
Long-term contracts with annual escalators and predictable payment schedules
We handle all development, permitting, construction, and ongoing maintenance
All systems meet industry safety and fire prevention standards with manufacturer warranties
Compact, quiet systems that fit on parcels as small as half an acre with no disruption
We work with landowners across the commercial and industrial space. If you have land that could host a battery storage system, we'd love to talk.
Trico Power is a battery energy storage development company. We develop distribution-level projects from site identification through to shovel-ready status, creating value for landowners, communities, and the grid.
The electrical grid is changing. Growing demand, aging infrastructure, and the rise of variable generation are creating an urgent need for flexible, distributed energy storage.
Trico Power was founded to meet that need. We focus exclusively on battery energy storage at the distribution level — working directly with landowners to site systems that strengthen local grid infrastructure while generating revenue through electricity markets.
Our projects are supported by a combination of federal tax incentives and long-term market participation, creating a durable economic foundation that supports stable landowner lease payments for decades.
Trico Power is led by experienced energy professionals with deep expertise in project development, finance, and grid infrastructure.
